I'm posting this link concerning Rand Paul chickening out of being on "Meet the Press" for the following reason:
"Throughout its history, she said, only two guests have canceled: Louis Farrakhan and Prince Bandar of Saudi Arabia."
That's good company for the Tea Bagging Libertarian.
That said, it's probably good for his people to tell him to start shutting the hell up. In the past week, we have learned that Paul (probably both of them) are cool with people being racist as long as they don't beat on people.
Also, disabled folks should just suck it up and not worry about businesses providing access to them.
Oh yeah, President Obama is apparently a racist tyrant for telling British Petroleum they're responsible for dumping millions of barrels of oil into the Gulf of Mexico (and beyond). Government should just shut up and let companies destroy nature willy nilly according to this guy and folks who agree with his philosophy.
I know everyone wants to be in love with the Paul family. They put aside the racist history of Ron Paul, and now they're going to try to do the same with (Ayn) Rand Paul. I'm not saying the guy is racist necessarily. He very well might be and I guess he's free to be so. But the real point is that he thinks it's cool for private businessmen to be racist, just as long as they don't beat up anybody.
(To be fair, it goes beyond race. He's against any government intervention on anything. You know, except for the social welfare Medicare payments he gets from his patients.)
