Some populist

So, Hillary Clinton has been pandering to the remaining racist whites who haven't become outright Republicans and out-of-work former union folks who should know better. She's Annie Oakley. She's Rocky Balboa. She's Rosie the Riveter.

Whatever.

She's so out of touch she can't even run a gas station coffee machine. And yeah, she wasn't getting a cup of joe, she was trying to pour out a cappuccino.

Hey, I *like* a cappuccino myself, but then again I'm not insulting supporters of another candidate as "latte sipping wimps" as her and her attack dogs are doing.

Not voting for her.

As posted over at myBO.

There's an online petition for Obama supporters who will not vote for Hillary Clinton should she steal the candidacy. You can find it here. Pretty simple really, though I am not sure anyone will pay attention to it.

I've already written equally ignorable statements to Howard Dean, and Clinton herself. I'm too much of a Democrat to vote for McCain so I guess I'm stuck not selecting a presidential candidate or writing one in if the worst should happen.

That said, let me be clear on one thing, if Obama is pressured into making Clinton his running mate, I won't vote for that ticket either. Why, you ask? Well, aside from the fact that she runs like a loathsome Republican, she either *is* or at least very-much-condones racists.

If I have one rule, it is that I don't vote for racists. She qualifies in spirit if not (yet) in practice, "as far as I know".

Anyway, follow the link, add your name to the list if interested. Otherwise, keep the faith folks.

I'm running out of networks

Obviously, FAUXNews isn't an option for me to watch. I could blow out a heart valve watching 20 minutes of that shit.

And given that debacle ABC calls a debate, I sure the heck don't want to listen to them for political news. CNN is a mess of angry conservatives like Lou Dobbs and Clintonite shills like Carville and Begala. Now, Katie Couric and CBS are apparently racist a-holes.

Hell, even NPR runs around kissing the butts of the radical right wingers.

Wow, that leaves me NBC/MSNBC. Now I really miss Tom Brokaw.

Living Color

"I'm going to tell you something: That boy's finger does not need to be on the button. He could not make a decision in that simulation that related to a nuclear threat to this country." (emphasis mine)

- US Rep Geoff Davis - Kentucky and Republican Scumbag on Obama being president

"Look at Indiana - wait, wait, look at Indiana. 42-40. It doesn't matter if we win, those people are shit.... How would you like to be a worthless white nigger?"

- Mickey Kantor, former Bill and current informal Hillary advisor, on lower class white Indiana voters in 1992. You know, the same people Hillary says are her base now.

The GOP is attacking Obama on race, with their flapping jaws and in attack ads in the South, and likely coming to a TV near you. The Clinton campaign still swears it isn't racist, but you couldn't prove it by their rhetoric.

I haven't mentioned the whole Jeremiah Wright thing lately because, frankly, it isn't an issue to me. I mean, seriously, I hope to God I never run for office, because the stuff I've heard in church is like the least of things I could be attacked on. Those of you who have ever partied with me can verify this. And still, I just know that the day Mom's Baptist preacher bashed the Catholic Church and the Virgin Mary as cult worshippers and his wife told me my dog was going to hell for being microchipped would probably kill a political career more than any amount of binge drinking I ever did. Full disclosure: that actually was the last time I ever entered that church, but still, I'm sure I'd get nailed for it even if I vehemently disagreed.

But going back to Wright, sure, I don't agree with everything the guy says, but actually put yourself in his place. If YOU had grown up seeing the stuff he had, you'd probably be just as pissed off.

More importantly though, the GOP kisses the balls of Falwell and Robertson and their ilk and none of THEM get bashed for those psychos beliefs. Hell, Billy Graham was/is an anti-Semite and NO president since the 60s hasn't kissed his ass. So what is the big frigging deal here?

Nah, it is just very thinly veiled racist BS. I can't really see any other motivation that holds water. You may see it otherwise, but that's your privilege.

Random Selections: Get Real Edition

"We have to agree with Sen. Barack Obama, the only candidate who has refused to play this game. 'It's not an idea to get you through the summer,' he said. 'It's an idea to get them through an election.' His opponents no doubt hope that Mr. Obama's stand will prove to be political suicide. We think it qualifies as political courage."

- Washington Post editorial opposing the McCain/Clinton gas tax holiday.

Humorful and not-so-much, people are asking our candidates to quit focusing on BS issues and coming up with BS solutions to real problems. This idiotic gas tax holiday is one of them. I have heard that the McCain-Clinton plan will save us anywhere from $18-30 a family. Hell, even Bush is bribing us $300 a head to make us not run him out of the White House with pitchforks and torches. And, he's not even tearing up the highway funds to do it; he's just passing the buck to untold future generations. And when I can say that Bush almost did something better than someone, that's not a compliment to either party.

Next up, Bill Clinton essentially calls anyone under the age of 65 who votes for Obama an idiot. Seriously, screw these bozos..

You think Jeremiah Wright is bad? Check out this hate-filled list from McCain's "spiritual advisors".

This article asks the good question: "If Clinton can't run a campaign, can she run the White House?". I'd like someone to seriously answer that actually.

To wrap up, a humorous yet impassioned pleas to the media to stop focusing on bullshit.

I got 2 out of 5

Take the Bush-McCain challenge.

So, apparently this isn't elitist?

Barack Obama gets an Ivy League education after being raised by a single mom and working in the ghettos of Chicago and suddenly Hillary Clinton can call him an elitist.

So WTF do you call this, Mrs. Clinton?

Yeah, that's your kid Chelsea at the Kentucky Derby today. Not a bowling alley or a pool hall or a ballgame. A freaking snobbish horserace. You know, the daughter the press can't ask difficult questions of, or ANY questions for that matter. The one who, when asked about her father's infidelities, is offended by such an "off-limits" question. Off-limits, like the questions you ask about Obama's preacher, and his neighbors, the thinly-veiled racial profiling you are doing.

But *he's* the elitist. This is laughable.

Clinton family et al, get your scumbag selves back to your humble abode in Chappaqua, NY (42nd amongst the richest 100 communities in the US).

Things to look forward to

We saw Iron Man last night. Seriously, good flick and they did it right getting Robert Downey Jr. to play Stark. Gwenneth Patrow even looked like a human being in this one, which must have been fun for her. Maybe she got a new agent or something.

That said, Indiana Jones comes out later this month and I'm definitely stoked for that. All it has to do is be entertaining, because - let's be honest - the other three weren't exactly cerebral flicks. So, don't lay too many expectations on it and go have a good time.

But to be fair, I am really, really looking towards July and The Dark Knight. Yes, it will be a tad depressing given Heath Ledger's passing, but apparently he just nail the Joker role.

Here's my favorite trailer thus far, besides the first seven minutes of the flick they showed that is:

Yeah, more politics. Sorry.

So, today, via a video on HuffPo because I'm still not going to watch FAUXNews for anything useful, we saw why, despite his many, many, MANY faults, Howard Dean is head of the DNC. He tells it like he sees it.

Now if only he could tell Clinton to go buzz off.

Meanwhile, Clinton mulls plans to steal the nomination. Also, Dean will be key in thwarting this attempt should he grow the stones required to block this.

Since no economist in America can find a way to back the Clinton-McCain gas tax holiday, Hillary has dubbed them all "elitists". Wait, I swear I've heard that before....

The Boston Herald focuses on Hillary's insane foreign policy ideas in Hillary Strangelove.

I've shown a variation of this before, but it bears repeating:

Not that I ever put a lot of merit into what Dick Morris has to say, but he might be right in arguing that Hillary is - at this point anyway - running for the nomination in 2012 instead of this year.

And this is weird, but since she considers gays firmly behind her already, I guess Clinton is cool with a little light gay bashing to inspire the more surly and intolerant blue collar voters she wants to pull for her. Nice.

And hey, let's follow up with a Tom Hanks endorsement.

The fix is IN?

From my morning inbox check:

According to Black Box Voting, the voting rolls have been slashed, predominantly in areas where Obama has been expected to dominate.

Take a look at the map below and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I know Evan Bayh swears he can deliver the state for Hillary, but this is ridiculous.

Hopefully the campaign is on top of this and will resolve the issue as best it can.

Another pointless poll, but I voted anyway

"The only Obama-Clinton ticket I would endorse is one that includes funkmaster deluxe George Clinton. Otherwise, no dice."

- Commenter TKD

While normally I don't read Marc Ambinder much (he's another Clinton apologist), he has an interesting poll up on the concept of an Obama/Clinton ticket. Vote here and vote accordingly.

Andrew Sullivan brought this up awhile back, and is grudgingly for it. I still firmly believe that doing so nullifies everything Obama says he is against concerning the tone and tenor of Washington politics. Plus, as oft noted, I am not voting for a racist and she increasingly qualifies as such.

More campaign nonsense, including a gag on the gas tax scam.

Also, some fun at the expense of Hillary as her campaign makes up an imaginary gun to try to challenge Obama on his gun control stance. Annie Oakley my ass.

Paul Krugman swears he isn't a Clinton supporter, but his words betray him. Maybe if he changes his name to Peter and denies her two more times....

To wrap, a good article from Kurt Anderson on the whole elitist charge.

More games

“Does anyone here really trust the oil companies to give you the savings, when they could just pocket the money themselves? There’s not an expert out there that believes that this is going to work. There’s not an editorial out there that has said this is actually the answer to high gas prices. In fact my understanding is today, Senator Clinton had to send out a surrogate to speak on behalf of this plan, and all she could find was, get this, a lobbyist for Shell Oil to explain how this is going to be good for consumers. It’s a ’shell game,’ literally.”

- Barack Obama, in a speech in Indianapolis

The editorial mentioned in the ad can be found here.

More on those against the gas tax.

Add your name to this petition.

And while Clinton can't find a economist for her insane and pointless gimmick, here is a growing list of economists against it.

Obama, for his part, just calls it a "Shell game".

Strangely, Clinton is now against expert opinions, which used to be a huge deal for her.

This article asks if she's about to discredit math as elitist too.

Republicans love her Republican campaigining and some will continue to vote for her. And NPR comes out of its pro-Clinton cage long enough to acknowledge that, yes, she IS running like a Republican.

To wrap up, Frank Rich asks why conservative religious fringe types, and the candidates they support, get off the hook when they are white. Damn good question.

They didn't have a baseball related one, so this will have to do....

Click to go to site if image doesn't completely show up.

One more....

I've been avoiding this story since it is pretty damn sick, but someone already wrote all the punchlines for me.

Did Hillary Kill Eight Belles?

May 6, 2008

What its like

A GI's phone accidentally called home from Afghanistan and left his parents a message they'd probably not want to hear. The story here.

And the audio:

A three minute glimpse into the front lines. Something this nation should be confronted with daily on the news except through the obstruction of Bush's secret gang of idiots and media fools like Rupert Murdoch who would rather sell you Paris Hilton than the hard truth.

For your results evening viewing

The 82-year old grandmother who inspired Obama the other day takes on a Clinton grandma.

Keith Olbermann on Clinton's ever-shifting goals and ever-excluding support base:

And, apparently, Hillary Clinton has three nuts.

In Repugnican't news, John McCain wants to reinstate the League of Nations to confront Iran. And we thought the GOP was against speaking to other nations.

Also, Laura Bush, in a speech about the 20,000 plus victims of the Myanmar cyclone, breaks from this tragedy of human suffering to discuss the apparently far-more-important details of Jenna's wedding. It isn't "Let them eat cake" but it sure is close.

In Clinton/Republican news, apparently Barack Obama can be both a radical Muslim AND a radical Black Christian at the same time. I have a note of concern for Ben Smith's reporting lately. He's not completely in the bag for Hillary like he has been. Someone should probably check his temperature.

Initial reports

SageReader over at Think On These Things on why he's glad he is finally able to vote for Obama today.

Meanwhile, Bill Moyers on Jeremiah Wright:

So far, Hillary is winning the angry farm vote in Indiana. No big surprise having lived in the region. I figure a third of them still have white sheets and hoods in their closets and some of those are crossing over from the GOP because Limbaugh told them to. And Clinton doesn't care about this, either.

Bill Clinton as George Wallace. Check it out here. Why does that not surprise me?

Wow, what a piece of shit

So, we were having a late dinner and watching the late results from Indiana come in. Incidentally, it *could* be that Clinton won thanks to Limbaugh's "Operation Chaos" after all.

Anyway, they brought on the mayor of Hammond, a Tom McDermott. Now, I don't even care who he was for (though he's a big Clinton fan), but this guy is like the slimiest piece of crap politician I've seen in recent memory. And hell, the Republicans have been running the country.

Seriously, he kept talking about voting impropriety and then ending the sentence with something like "not that I'm saying that". He must have taken notes from Hillary's "as far as I know" chapter on how to diminish others. He basically accused the mayor of Gary of rigging the election for Obama. And having grown up on stories of Chicagoland politics, I get what the mayor of Gary was doing: making sure every precinct had every vote before turning them over to the county. That way no one accuses him of making up and/or rejecting absentee votes after the fact.

But that wasn't fast enough for CNN, or for freak show McDermott, who thankfully was proven to be a shill by votes coming in as he was about to bring down the wrath of Hillary and discredit, renounce, reject, disown, and probably sue Mayor Rudy Clay for being either a) black, b) an Obama supporter, or c) a latte-sipping Volvo driver who doesn't have three nuts like Hillary. Or whatever the assholes over there are coming up with.

The only thing I did enjoy about my abbreviated results viewing was finally catching Clinton speak for the first time in many months. Apparently the old firebrand looked very defeated this evening. I will give her this though, she didn't cry.

Yet.

Game Over

"Tell me why she's not Ralph Nader. We're in spoiler-land, now."

- Anonymous Democrat

More on that imbecile Clinton drone Tom McDermott. Apparently, he was also involved in bitching about black kids being bussed to early voting sites, presumably for Obama, but NOT being told to vote so. This is in line with the Clintonista lawsuit to stop casino workers from voting here in Nevada, or in many flavors of her campaign's efforts to strip votes away from Obama, and from Democratic voters.

While we are at it, and yeah, they have the right to change their mind but...who exactly was behind the Puerto Rico changeover from a caucus to a primary? It is the last shot in the primary season and they only made the change not much more than a month ago. Sounds fishy to me, that's all I'm saying.

A ton of election stuff. Just don't tell me you weren't warned.

"You know what's funny?

There's a guy named Harold Ickes who was on the DNC's Rules and Bylaws Committee who voted last year to strip Michigan and Florida of their delegates for violating the rules.

I mean what are the odds?"

- ABC's Jake Tapper

Clinton is going to keep trying to seat the Michigan and Florida delegates - at least the ones that voted for her, no matter what it does to the party. The irony, of course, as Tapper points out is that her attack dog Ickes is instrumental in their votes not counting in the first place. Karma, ain't it a bitch?

Incidentally, she's broke. Oh, yeah, she's still morally and philosophically bankrupt, but she's loaned her campaign $6.4 million. A loan. You know, even Romney knew he wasn't getting his $30 million back. She should at least suck it up and put the money in the pot, lest her supporters consider their donations as a loan and ask for their money back.

Stick a fork in her. She's done.

Post-rout notes

“I have to offer a ‘Keith-style’ Special Comment on that. Anyone who voted to screw up the political system of this country with the purpose of mischief should carry that with them the rest of their lives. What a ridiculous way to use the vote for which people fought and died - to use that vote to make mischief. I hope you’re proud of yourself.”

- Chris Matthews, on Limbaugh's cretins

Chris Matthews, welcome to democracy. You're still slightly offensive, but I congratulate you on taking a moral stance, at least on this one.

Also from C&L, the vaguely anti-Obama and anti-Dem voter ID law disenfranchises...nuns.

George McGovern is among the first of party elders to drop his support for Clinton, move over to Obama and ask her to drop out. I'm sure more are coming.

One Clinton campaign aide says she will hang on until June 15th. With presumably all the negative attacks she can muster by then, though I imagine it will be by text message since she's about out of cash.

Marc Ambinder, usually a Hillary supporter but still a realist, wonders how Clinton now plans to lose. Good question. She could easily go scorched earth and harm the party. He then shows his colors by pointing out why she should stay in the race.

David Plouffe asks the superdelegates to start reading the tea leaves and face reality.

Slate's Hillary Clinton Deathwatch has her chances down to 4.2% after last night's results.

Apparently, there were no issues in Lake County, IN, according to the GOP election head there. They just wanted to do it right and count every vote in a precinct before reporting. Wow, being attacked for trying to get it right? From the Clintons and their supporters? Really? That says a lot.

Must've been a Hillary supporter

A teacher in Idaho threw away a student's Mexican flag he brought to school to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Said teacher's explanation is pretty damn flimsy.

This is the kind of crap that will also stop me from voting for a Rethug or a Clinton (anyway, Bill *did* fool me twice).

So, if Hammond, Indiana's Tom McDermott is yesterday's Asshole of the Day, Twin Falls teacher Clint Straatman has earned today's privilege. Or Monday's since he did it then. Oh heck, let's make him Asshole of the Week.

Moving away from this crap, some sharp-barbed humor.

A joke from 23/6 about the end of the primary season: Will Puerto Ricans save a white woman from a black assailant?

From the same site, a couple of McCain jabs concerning his so-called "Maverick" status:

as well as a list of proposed slogans.

Frankly, the lady scares the hell out of me

Would YOU want this unhinged person running your country?

I sure the hell don't.

Thanks for nothing

Nancy Pelosi, without actually saying so, is apparently for Hillary Clinton. It is her opinion that "the race is alive and well and will continue". That's not even code words for "Gee, I hope she steals the nomination. How can I help?" In a just world all these asshats would be run out of office once the deal is done.

And in an endorsement even more odious than that of Louis Farrakhan, Rush Limbaugh is now for Obama. Granted, not for any honorable reason, but it is probably the first time Limbaugh has encouraged a black man to do well in, well, ever.

May 11, 2008

Cokie Roberts is a piece of shit and other observations

I got about four minutes into watching This Week this morning and found out that, according to Roberts, anyone who is telling Clinton to leave the race is a sexist pig.

So much for addressing reality. So much for ignoring that her and her supporters have ACTUALLY BEEN racists. But no, telling a woman to leave when it has been obvious for months she has no chance of winning, that's sexism. Whatever.

Terry McAuliffe is wishing Russert's dad is dead. Look, I have my issues with Russert, but wow.

Saturday Night Live finally bites the hand that feeds. It's a five minute segment, and isn't really funny, but since I said SNL, you already knew it wasn't going to be funny.

Bob Herbert on Hillary's racism strategy. Plus, here's some concern for Obama, racism at the Secret Service.

Charles Rangel is laughably trying to understand and justify the racist shit Hillary says. Fool.

Even fencesitter John Edwards took a swipe at Hillary's race comments.

Some pack of morons is working hard to make Clinton a viable VP option. Since I won't vote for a racist, I hope the Obama campaign is a damn lot smarter than that, because they will automatically lose my vote.

Meanwhile, a snapshot into the anti-Obama hype machine, including retired CIA goons. Yeah, it isn't *just* the Republicans and Clintons.

Hillary has tried to compare herself to Rocky Balboa, Annie Oakley, and a whole lot of other fictional characters. Here we get closer to the truth. She's the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

May 12, 2008

Easy Rider

Barack is taking it easy, biding his time before showing the country what an awful choice John McCain would be for this nation.

He's also checking in on folks in the House, generating some buzz there.

Meanwhile Clinton is still attacking, her supporters are spreading hate, and some douche-bags are starting a site called VoteBoth, trying to will her as a VP candidate. Personally, I used the site to send my state uncommitted delegates notes on why they SHOULD not choose this path.

And now talk of Obama somehow helping Clinton pay off her $20 million in debt (and counting). If I were him, I wouldn't do it. Why pay for racism? Besides, if Mitt Romney could just give (re: NOT LOAN) his campaign $30 million, why shouldn't Clinton be forced to gamble and lose?

A post-mortem of the Clinton campaign, including some key moments. Reading all of that in short, I realize how looney she really is.

An update from Indiana. Her win was less than 1%, meaning it probably WAS a Limbaugh victory for Hillary.

And Lieberman is officially McCain's attack dog. Just in case you were still confused.

Okay, this probably has to stop

"They say it's all over but the shouting. Fortunately, Hillary Clinton does that part very well."

- Dana Milbank, in a recent article

I really need to stop picking on Clinton. Not because I feel a sense of guilt about it. I don't. I just don't think it is relevant anymore. Let these vile folks wander off into history. We had a good time, but not THAT great a time with them in charge. Let the past be the past.

Too bad she isn't getting the message.

Moving towards the general election scramble, the GOP has taken the slogan of an anxiety drug for their new campaign screed. Congrats. Welcome to a new level of irrelevancy.

Meanwhile, the House GOP is against mothers. Hey, I'm not making it up, they actually voted against mothers. So much for family values.

And in the first sign of the Clinton-to-McCain switch, the governor of Oregon got on stage during a McCain speech on the environment. So, can we consider this the beginning of the end of the racists deserting the Democratic party for the Rethugs?

Obama hits McCain for not backing Jim Webb's New GI Bill. And more on how McCain has screwed over the American fighting man and woman in recent years.

May 13, 2008

The OTHER America

"He's a half-breed and he's a Muslim. How can you trust that?"

- PA Clinton volunteer to an Obama supporter

That, and other racist bullshit, can be found in this article.

More on moron Clinton supporters who didn't leave the party in 1964 at Andrew Sullivan's site.

Honestly, we all know there are racists. We know they either vote for conservative Dems or just outright Republican. Yeah, Obama is going to lose West Virginia, and badly. Why? Because freaking racists live there. This isn't news. This isn't something Jeremiah Wright caused. Or the lack of a flag pin.

This goes back to not knocking the hell out of the South when they were down. For not executing every member of the KKK as domestic terrorists when they sprung into being after the Civil War. This comes from Nixon's "Southern Strategy", the Willy Horton type ads, Rove's attacks on McCain as having a "black baby" out of wedlock, and so on.

This isn't new, but apparently pretending it has never existed before is news if you see the MSM play it out.

You want to know why the world has thousands who want to kill Americans and millions who cheer them on? Our vast resource of racists are a major part of it.

Better late than never

"I liked Edwards, but he's just another Negro-lover now. Hillary or McCain for President!!!"

Posted by: Khrutch | May 14, 2008 6:34:44 PM
- Clinton supporter at the ABC News blogs

Now that we know where the Clinton vote is on the subject (and probably Hillary herself), John Edwards has endorsed Barack Obama today. The original and genuine voice of the working poor in this campaign (until Hillary used them as an angry mob) has decided his supporters should join the rest of America and he threw his support behind Barack.

Watch it here:

Thank you Senator Edwards. Better late than never.

Tyra Banks can deliver us from Hillary

At least, according to Andy Borowitz:

Olbermann calls Bush out

Someone has been needing to do this for a LONG time. Thanks Keith.

Transcript here.

Hate is a four letter word

"As an American I am ashamed that such a man represents me."

- Paul Begala, on George Bush's insanity

First, we welcome Paul Begala back - at least temporarily - to the Democratic Party.

Bush compared Obama's willingness to talk to leaders of countries who do not like us, namely most of them since Bush got into office, to the actions of Nazi appeasers. Now, coming from Bomb-all-the-Brown-People Bush, that is not much of a surprise. Then again, even he has chosen talk over warfare ever so often, as the link to Begala's statement clearly shows.

The worst part for the future of our country? That shitheel McCain agrees (naturally) with Bush. Seriously, do NOT vote for that imbecile.

That said, Bush shouldn't be bringing up Nazi appeasers. His grandpappy Prescott's Hamburg-American line was investigated for pushing Nazi propaganda. Plus, he was apparently involved in the Business Plot to overthrow FDR and the US government and install a fascist regime modeled on Hitler's Germany. Some of his business interests were taken by the US government by right of the Trading with the Enemy Act for conducting business with the Nazis.

So, um, you know, Bush apparently knows all about appeasing Nazis. His family got rich off of it.

Still not all is well in Democratic lands either. NARAL Pro-Choice endorsed Obama, and immediately pissed off a lot of feminists who still believe Hillary has a chance.

Here is one odious quote...

And in a phone conversation, Marcia Pappas, the head of National Organization of Women, New York -- who famously accused Ted Kennedy for betraying women by endorsing Obama -- would not even commit to supporting the Illinois Democrat in the general election.

"It is disappointing that an organization that stands up for the rights of women would rush to this type of judgment, especially when we only have three weeks left. And I would wonder what criteria they used to make that judgment, based on the fact that [Obama] chose seven times to vote present," she said. "We certainly know that John McCain is not good on women's rights and we hope that Barack Obama is better on it, but it remains to be seen when we have a candidate who did not stand firm when he could have done so."

...and then some commenters who are justifiably pissed in return.

"WOW. So just because Hillary isn't making it to the general election you're willing to sit it out and give McCain an edge? You're willing to turn back Roe v. Wade because you felt it was a disrespect to your girl Hillary to vote for a man? What kind of backwards feminism is this? This isn't even feminism, it's just plain stupidity. These are the kind of "feminists" that hold every free thinking and free willed woman back."

- Commenter missviv, at HuffPo

"Question is: will these people repudiate Sen. Obama for a man who calls his own wife a c*nt in front of the press? If that's feminism, count me out."

- Commenter ckemp at HuffPo
